Messengers

The two messengers, appearing in Hellsing Episode 12: Total Destruction.

These two Messengers that appeared for a couple of episodes in the Hellsing TV series were two minor characters. Their only purpose was to only deliver messages by the Queen of England, to Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing.

Information[]

Appearance[]

One is a short, plump and chubby man with brown hair and a beard. While the other, looks like an old man with a slicked back, gray hair and mustache. Both however, wore a black suit, blue tie and a white shirt. Along with a black dress and business shoes. Also, they both appear to wear a black bowl hats, and holds an umbrella.

Role[]

While they don't have that much of an important role in the series, their main purpose is to only deliver messages from the Queen to Integra. Despite Integra saying that they work for her, they're technically not Hellsing members, per se, but instead; fellow members of the Queen. Their messages are also politely phrased, but the meaning of their messages are quite harsh; as Integra takes one of the message from them, that being "Be stand strong through this fierce night and take solace - that at sunrise your Judas shall be punished" into some thing like "You're on your own now", which led to Integra stating that they've been abandoned.

Messages[]

  • Suspicious incidents happening in the streets of Birmingham that are likely to have been caused by vampires.
  • The appearance of Alexander Anderson, the Iscariot's trump card.
  • The Queen's whereabouts, so that Integra could have a little bit of peace knowing that she's safe and sound.

Trivia[]

  • Despite there being two people, only one actually speaks in the TV series and they're credited as "Messenger", which, he's voiced by Yu Shigeki in Japanese and Roland E. Barrow in English.
    • In the newtype feature of the anime, these characters appears; but instead of their name being "Messenger", they're instead named as the "Buckingham Emissaryバッキンガムの密使, Bakkingamu no Misshi".
