Summary[]
The Major returns to home base triumphantly despite Tubalcain's failure. The Colonel isn't very pleased that The Major has taken up the title Acting Führer, and confrontation between the two Nazis reaches a head.
Synopsis[]
The elderly heads of the surviving Nazi army wait for The Major's return, speaking of how he has taken for himself the title "Acting Führer" and has become rather prideful, thinking of a punishment best fit for him. Upon his return, The Major is greeted by the entirety of the Last Battalion, among whom is Schrödinger, who asks how The Major's "walk in the clouds," commenting that it must be stuffy in the cave (i.e., The Panther's Den), to which The Major confirms. The Major informs that Tubalcain Alhambra was killed, something that does not surprise Schrödinger. Schrödinger tells The Major that it would have been better if he had sent the Werwolves instead, stating that they would make sure Alucard was good as dead. The Professor scolds Schrödinger, but The Major tells him to stop as it doesn't matter and notes that there were results. Schrödinger looks for some affirmation from The Captain, but The Captain shushes him with a cold stare.
The Major waves it off, saying that it is too unlike Schrödinger to be gloomy, then asks about the status of the other Werwolves, which, Schrödinger reports that they're probably scrambling to arrive as they didn't think he would come back so soon. When The Major states, "The time has finally come," Schrödinger's eyes light up, asking for what he meant. The Major hails before announcing that he's returned from his duty in accordance with the Führer's "Special Order #666." It is then after that the Colonels appear and demand some answer from The Major on his actions and taking the title of Führer. His answer boils down to "Why don't you kiss my official ass?" which earns him a strike that sends him rolling. The Colonel begins to beat The Major senseless with his cane, demanding an answer on not only how he can take the title but also why he won't turn them into vampires, calling The Major and his battalion "freaks." Suddenly, his cane is shot out from under him.
Zorin Blitz tells the Colonel that he would do better if he were to back down, remarking that The Major built up Millennium and the Battalion before he joined, who just so happens to have more stars on his uniforms. She then states, "If the freeloaders push their luck too far... we'll kill them all off... gramps." Then, everyone points their guns towards the Colonel as The Major stands up, spreading his arms as his eyes grow more intense and his smile widens; concurrently, the Colonel asks what he's going to do with a battalion of one million vampires. The Major informs him that his objective is simply, "To savor the joy of war limitlessly. For the next war, and the next, and the next."
