Mr. Ridgewayリッジウェイさま, Rijjiwei-sama is a minor character appearing in the second chapter of Crossfire. He is the head of the Ridgeway Company, a company that deals with firearms, ammunition and intelligence; a company that prefers the highest bidder over others.

Appearance[]

Ridgeway is an older man with a black hair. He is also a tall and lanky man possessing a square chin and has a long, messy hair tightly bound. Wearing a brightly colored shirt with a striped patterned tie over a dark suit, and over a light colored long coat with an added white scarf with a matching trousers and a pair of light colored business shoes, Ridgeway also wore two circle framed glasses and a pair of white gloves.

Personality[]

In his limited time on the chapter, Ridgeway is shown to be a quite calm and intelligent man. As his business operates specifically on firearms and intelligence, Ridgeway prefers money over anything else, and will sell to "anyone who has the money." He can by quite serious at times however. Ridgeway also states that he wishes he could be as busy as Yumiko and Heinkel are, meaning that he too wishes to be an assassin over a dealer. He also expressed his amazement over The Vatican sending in girls like Heinkel and Yumiko to handle with multiple armed men.

History[]

As apart of the deal, Ridgeway goes to Ilyushin's office to trade firearms and such. Expressing his interest over Ilyushin buying massive firearms, with a total of 2,572,760.45 dollars, Ridgeway asks if Ilyushin intends to start a war, to which, Ilyushin dodges the question and asks Ridgeway if he's going to sell the weapons or not, which Ridegway in return says that he will; as he sells to anyone who has the money. Ridgeway states that he doesn't know any of Ilyushin's men really are, and assures Ilyushin that he doesn't know any details, and states that the goods are already on their way.

Then, Ridgeway mentions about the incident about a Catholic Church in Berlin having been attacked with a large sum of donations being stolen, to which, Ilyushin smirks, asking if Ridgeway was suppose to know any details or not. Standing up grabbing his briefcases, Ridgeway apologizes and bids his farewell to Ilyushin, and walks out of the apartment room. At the hallway, Ridgeway walks to the elevator, and there awaits Yumie and Heinkel; waiting for information given to them by Ridgeway, as The Vatican is actually the highest bidder.

Ridgeway meets and informs Heinkel that there are six men with handguns and a woman with a knife, and she's the boss. Turning around over the elevator, Ridgeway looks at both Yumie and Heinkel and expresses his amazement over the Vatican sending in girls like them to handle an assassination, and then states that he only wishes to be as busy as them. Entering the elevator as the elevator door closes, Ridgeway smiles and states that the Ridgeway Company offers The Vatican their gratitude for employing their services, and they'll be waiting for The Vatican's next job.
