Incognito 《インコグニートInkogunīto》 is a powerful vampire from the dark continent of Africa. He also acts as the main antagonist of the Hellsing anime series and is a deadly adversary of Alucard.
He was responsible for the creation of the FREAK chip that creates impure Vampire. He's also a loyal servant to his unnamed master, and the master of Paul Wilson - much like Alucard and Seras Victoria. Though physically androgynous, he is generally thought to be male. A worthy opponent for Alucard, Incognito is a vampire who's an expert at dark magic, even being able to summon an ancient god that would unleash a rampage onto London.
In Japanese, he was voiced by Takumi Yamazaki. In English, he was voiced by Isaac Charles Singleton Jr.
Incognito had purple-ish grey skin and is almost as tall as Alucard. He also has a green eye, however, his left eye is distorted. It could possibly be his restriction to his power, similar to Alucard's restriction gloves. He was drawn as an incredibly lanky person and has a left arm that's longer than his right arm. One most notable feature of Incognito, aside from his left eye, is his head shape - he's bald and his head crown is pointy and very long.
Incognito's blood also appears to be a different color than red, as shown in episode 11 when Seras shot him multiple times. However, in episode 13, when Alucard impaled him, he was seen bleeding with red blood. Furthermore, when Helena tried to escape from Incognito's body, Incognito sliced part of his tummy, and the blood was red.
Clothing[]
He wore a piercing on his chin, forehead, the top of his head, and his gynecomastia. He also wore an earring on his left ear.
He had a purple tattoo all over his body, and a red one that looked like a third eye on his forehead. Interestingly, he wore another piercing on his forehead in his first appearance which is shaped like a triangle, in which combining it with the red tattoo on the middle of his forehead, it looked like the Illuminati.
He wore a gold necklace and golden cuffs on both of his arms and he sometimes dons a beige coat. In his first appearance, he wore white and pink framed sunglasses, with a green tie and a white shirt, but he stopped using them for an unknown reason.
Personality[]
He's a masochistic, sadistic vampire. Showing no remorse for what he is doing, and instead enjoys it - often laughing maniacally about it. Before being fused with Sett, he's shown to be calm and incredibly patient, executing the first step of his plan very smoothly - meaning that he's a gifted tactician, even tricking the Hellsing Organisation's leader, Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing.
After being shot multiple times in the head, Incognito instead smiles.
Like the Major from the original Hellsing manga, he seems to embrace the war that's going on around him - even saying that he lives for total destruction, and nothing else. He's quite psychotic, treating everyone he fights with extreme brutality, and his only reason for doing the things that he does is to hurt as many innocent people as possible, all while displaying little to no guilt or shame for any of the horrible actions he or his allies commits. Incognito also sees pain as some kind of weird pleasure, as shown when after Alucard asked him, which method he should take to send him into a purgatory of eternal pain, Incognito claims that he's the one who wishes for eternal pain, this statement is possibly very true, as Incognito, often when getting shot, smiles and tells them to shoot more. Furthermore, after Integra had stated that he would be given eternal pain, Incognito commented "That's Marvelous", showing his true desire for "eternal pain". However, it's not only limited to him, he takes pleasure when someone screams or struggles when they're hurt -replying with "Just enjoy the pleasure".
However, after fusing with Sett, his calm and patient personality took a turn and he became impatient, savage, and egotistical, almost like Alucard. He claims that with the power of the ancient god, Sett, he will rule the world. Incognito is also known for being very manipulative, often asking questions that would leave victims open for an attack, something he did to Seras. Though he claimed to be loyal to his god, Incognito in truth, had no intention of ever letting Sett take over and was instead planning to betray the deity and steal its powers for himself, showing that he was incredibly ambitious and power-hungry, almost to the point of arrogance, which Integra even stated that he was a freak who is addicted to his own power and intoxicated with blood. Like Alucard, his overconfidence in his ability ironically led to his defeat at the hands of Alucard.
His ambitions proved so great that it led to him murdering Helena after he feared that she might cause problems for him in the future suggesting that he might've had a paranoid side to him. His arrogance and sadistic and overconfident nature can also easily be abused, as when he had thought he had killed Alucard, he had instead got revived due to Incognito not checking twice to make sure if he was really dead or not, and easily assumed that he would win in a second battle. He was also confident that Seras would die due to blood loss, and that's why she left her, however, this turns out to be not true and Seras managed to live to see another day. Ironically it was these character flaws that would lead to him being defeated and his plans thwarted before they even began.
History[]
Past[]
While it is unknown how did he become a vampire, and even his identity is unknown. However, it is hinted that he came from the "Dark Continent", which is an obvious reference to Africa. It can be assumed that, like how Sir Integra found Alucard, Incognito's master found Incognito somewhere, and the latter happens.
There are also many debates regarding whether Alucard or Incognito was the first vampire to exist, as he was called numerous times the "True Undead" and "the Original", which led to some confusion about whether Count Dracula is really the first vampire to ever exist.
Incognito first appeared when Alucard sensed his presence when he arrived in England. He eventually occupied a castle and performed a ritual on an unidentified man. Incognito began operations within the castle, causing the Hellsing Organisation to investigate. Under orders to apprehend supposed IRA terrorists, the S.A.S 22nd Regiment ordered Hellsing to stand aside. It is uncertain, but possible, that Incognito deliberately leaked information to the S.A.S about the possible terrorists both to delay Hellsing and to provide himself with troops as the entire S.A.S unit was later turned into FREAKS.
Mad, Alucard tries to shoot Incognito, however, it backfires.
Despite Hellsing's withdrawal, Alucard continued to investigate and came face to face with Incognito for the first time. The two exchanged greetings of a sort, establishing that they were both original vampires armed with human weapons and were prepared to engage one another. Incognito then told Alucard that they are different, and Alucard doesn't have a master to serve anymore. Incognito then shoots Alucard with his Grenade Launcher and the spines go through Alucard's chest. Incognito had ordered the Baobhan Sith (pronounced baa'-van shee), Laura, to turn Integra into a ghoul. Alucard was quick to return to Integra's side and eliminated Laura. With Alucard otherwise occupied, Incognito completed his efforts to transform the 22nd Regiment of the S.A.S into FREAKs and then orders them to attack Cambridge and Trafalgar Square.
Aware of the potential threat that Helena could pose to his plans, Incognito attacked and devoured her. Despite Incognito's power, Helena was able to force her way partly free of Incognito's body and provide information to Seras Victoria before being beheaded and killed.
Aware of the trap at the Tower of London, Incognito then decided to turn the tables on the Hellsing forces by causing a fierce battle against each other which has drawn the attention of the British army and thus framing the Hellsing Organisation as terrorists. Multiple Hellsing Soldiers died because of him and Alucard sensed something was very wrong, thus leaving Integra to pursue Incognito. Alucard and a Hellsing Member, Chris Pickman, formed a duo and killed a multitude of Incognito's S.A.S Ghouls. Shortly thereafter, Seras Victoria would do the same, witnessing Peter Fargason's death and in a fit of rage comes in with the Harkonnen and kills multiple S.A.S Ghouls as well, including Paul Wilson who she killed with one of Harkonnen's bullets by slamming it on his mouth. Alucard, after being forced to shoot Chris, enters the Tower of London to confront Incognito, who was waiting for him. Both of them get ready, with Incognito pulling out his Grenade Launcher and releasing his Dark Magic powers, and Alucard pulling out the Jackal and releasing Level 2.
Incognito shoots at Alucard, but Alucard dodges it and shoots back with the Jackal which blasts Incognito's shoulder. Incognito, however, encourages Alucard to attack him and manages to scar Alucard's cheek. Incognito was caught off-guard when Alucard instantly ran towards him after getting scarred. He then shoots Incognito's head and thought that he had won until he realizes that Incognito tricked him. Incognito had planned this from the very beginning, with Alucard responding by calling him "cunning". Incognito taunts him and gets up while slashing Alucard, who couldn't move, 3 times. Alucard saw Seras with the Jackal's ammo and tells her to run. Seras, however, disobeys him and ends up getting heavily injured by Incognito's dark magic.

Incognito laughs and taunts Alucard, Alucard responding angrily, saying that he will send him to the bottom of Judecca, saying that he should lick Satan's ass down there. He uses his telekinesis power to grab the Jackal's magazine. He pulls the trigger at Incognito's head once again, but, Incognito simply phased his head becoming temporarily invulnerable. Incognito proceeds to telekinetically hurl the Jackal's bullets back at Alucard, giving him a "taste of his own blessed silver". As Alucard dies, he tells Seras that she should've listened to him. Seras tries to drink Alucard's blood and Incognito tells Seras that it won't do anything by drinking his blood.
He then kidnaps Integra and prepares for a ritual to summon Sett, and was successful. Though Integra already told Alucard to release Level 1, his most powerful form.
Alucard uses the blood of the fallen Hellsing Soldiers to heal and then teleports behind Incognito and proceeds to taunt him. An annoyed and angry Incognito then commands Sett to strike Alucard, but Alucard dodges Sett and is immediately impressed by Incognito, complimenting his powers. Incognito curses Alucard after he holds Sett's mouth and taunts Incognito while Sett is blasting him. Incognito sees an eye and then two Baskerville heads coming out of Alucard and proceeds to attack Baskerville, causing a huge explosion that sends them both to the sky.
Alucard and Incognito battle in the sky. Alucard's Baskerville bites onto Sett, and Sett tries to blast Alucard. He blocks Sett's blasts using Baskerville's head, then Sett and Baskerville clash with each other which makes them both fall.
Alucard and Incognito impacted a cathedral after their fall from the sky, their collision lit the entire building on fire from the inside. They both recover and are ready for a standoff. Incognito claims that he will never be able to destroy him and says that he wishes to have eternal pain, to which, Alucard says that he has a disgusting hobby and that he will send Incognito to a world that only exists in pain. Incognito pulls the Grenade launcher out of his arm and proceeds to vomit a set of dark magic spines into the cartridge assembly of the gun. Incognito shoots Alucard with his Grenade launcher while running straight toward him. Alucard dodges the dark magic spines from the Grenade Launcher and runs straight toward him with the Jackal. They both get a huge chunk of their torso blown off and Alucard's Jackal is broken.
Incognito taunts Alucard after healing the massive hole in his torso but Incognito was terrified when he realizes Sett has merged with Alucard, while his hair begins to glow hot, holding onto a silver cross and then pouring it on his broken Jackal, which he later uses to impale Incognito. Before Incognito dies, he asks Alucard for his identity. Alucard shows his true face briefly and impales Incognito once again, killing Incognito and afterward, hangs his corpse on top of the cathedral, alongside his grenade launcher.
It's not really stated as to what kind of relationship this individual had with Incognito. But given that Incognito often seemed to do as he pleased (it was never confirmed which actions were ordered and which weren't), it's possible that Incognito, unlike Alucard to his master Integra, was not completely under this person's control. He and his master were also the ones who created the plan to take over England, which would've been successful if Integra hadn't released Alucard's restraint to level one. His master also seems to have control over the London Military and was the one who ordered them to attack the Hellsing Organisation and frame them.
Nevertheless, they seem to be working really well with each other, as their plan was coming in very smoothly until Alucard uses the blood of the dead Hellsing soldiers to revive himself.
Laura seems to be loyal to Incognito, and Incognito seems to be the one that hired her, rather than his master. Despite this, Laura only agreed to do this so she could avenge her species that was apparently killed by the ancestor of Integra.
A newly turned FREAK, Paul was Incognito's right hand, and it also can be accurately said, that he's Incognito's fledgling, much like Seras is to Alucard. However, unlike them, Paul was implanted with multiple FREAK chips, unlike Seras, in which Alucard directly gave Seras his blood which made her become a true vampire. Despite Paul's apparent obsession with Seras, it can be easily assumed that he's loyal towards Incognito, and probably thanked him for giving him powers by implanting the FREAK chips, which, Paul previously said that he wanted to become a "perfect being" like Incognito.
The Valentine Brothers[]
Luke Valentine and Jan Valentine were minor villains, though made a heavy impact on the Hellsing organisation's military. In reality, it was actually Incognito that caused that, due to the fact that Incognito had ordered them to do so. And also, it can be easily assumed that both brothers were loyal to Incognito and his master, although they had never really talked to him directly.
Obviously, Incognito holds some kind of grudge against Alucard, as he appears to be screaming Alucard's name during his ritual to enhance his dark magic power. Despite this, he used Alucard as some kind of bait for Integra; by battling Alucard, Incognito knew that Integra would try and come to stop the battle, which was correctly predicted by Incognito. She came and Incognito was able to summon Sett, meaning Alucard was literally just a distraction.
However, they're not really different from each other; both are incredibly violent and sadistic, belittling their opponents when they have the chance to do so, and both favor their masters, Alucard with Integra and Incognito with his unnamed master. Ironically, during their first fight, Alucard was defeated due to the fact that he underestimated Incognito, and Incognito later lost due to underestimating Alucard during their final battle, being so confident that he could win as he "has the power of the ancient god, Sett". Ironically, regarding their similarities, Alucard called Incognito "disgusting"
Despite their apparent hatred towards each other, Incognito seems to respect Alucard a little, stating that he sees Alucard's power and knows that he is some kind of a threat. Alucard, on the other hand, respects Incognito more than Incognito respects him; calling him a "category A vampire", and his satisfaction after fighting Incognito is very apparent, going as far as showing his true identity to him. It was also noticeable that Alucard didn't even drink Incognito's blood, therefore, he wasn't made into a familiar to Alucard. Instead, he impaled him from bottom to top, and hangs him on top of the cathedral, making it look like he kept Incognito as some kind of a trophy or something like that.

Overview[]
A true vampire, the "Real Undead" Incognito is a very dangerous opponent; unlike Alucard, he appears to fight very calmly and wait until the perfect time to strike back, making Incognito a very dangerous opponent. He's also manipulative, often asking questions that would make someone question their decision, and then leave them open for Incognito to strike. He's also the one responsible for the creation of the "FREAK chips", which would turn normal humans, into artificial vampires. Like Alucard, Incognito has a wide variety of abilities, including telekinesis, gravity defiance, and phasing. However, the most notable one is his dark magic power would be that bullets blessed with silver also appear to be quite useless to Incognito, as he was shot multiple times with them but he didn't even flinch.
Abilities and Strength:[]
Superhuman Strength: As a true vampire, like Alucard, Incognito has a strength beyond that of the strongest humans, ghouls, and even artificial vampires. Fledglings like Seras were easily pushed aside by Incognito, as shown in episode 11, and Helena, a true vampire, was devoured with her head being sliced off with ease. However, it seems that Helena doesn't have that much ability, and is much weaker than true vampires like Alucard and Incognito.
Superhuman Endurance: True vampires like Incognito are able to withstand bullets. One notable example is when Seras Victoria shot him in the face multiple times, however, Incognito didn't even flinch and instead, smiled.
Regeneration: Like all vampires, Incognito has the ability to regenerate from his wounds. However, since he is a true vampire, it is common fact that he regenerates faster than ghouls or artificial FREAKs and normal vampires like the Cheddar Priest. It seems that he can control whether he wants the wound to regenerate, or not, as he was seen with the bullet holes when Seras shot him, which would normally regenerate instantly. Incognito also possesses regenerative abilities that may actually exceed those of Alucard, as Incognito was able to shrug off the effects of both the Jackal and the Casull.
Immortality: Like Alucard, Incognito is biologically immortal. It is unknown if he was the first vampire to ever exist or Alucard, but we do know that he is at least hundreds of years old.
Teleportation: It is not clear if he uses his teleportation power to appear in England or if he even has this power, but it is assumed that he has some sort of teleportation power, as it is impossible to go there without some kind of transportation, but there were no boats or anything - he just appeared out of nowhere, standing menacingly.
Third Eye: Similar to Alucard and Seras' third eye, Incognito has a "Third Eye" ability, which allows him to see things from very far distances. This ability really helps in his weapon accuracy.
Telepathy: Similar to how Alucard uses telepathic abilities to communicate with Seras, Incognito uses this ability to communicate with Paul Wilson - as demonstrated in episode 9.
Hematophagy: A normal vampiric ability, Incognito has the ability to consume blood.
Hemokinesis: Transcended vampires like Incognito have the ability to manipulate blood, as he was seen drinking Integra's blood without even biting her neck. Only a small hole was needed for him to be able to suck the blood without biting the victim's neck.
Soul Absorption: By draining a person of their blood, Incognito gains dominance over their souls and very forms. However, Incognito goes even further by devouring them, such was the case for Helena. Despite this, he never used Helena's ability.
Dark Magic[]
His dark magic, represented by the glowing sigils covering his body, allows him to withstand what would otherwise be a killing shot from the Casull or Jackal. His powers enable him to phase out part of his body in response to an attack. When Alucard fired a bullet at point-blank range at Incognito's eye, Incognito simply phased his head, becoming temporarily invulnerable. His magic also allows him to turn an opponent's attack back on themselves such as when he telekinetically hurled the Jackal's bullets back at Alucard, giving him a "taste of his own blessed silver". His dark magic also enhances many of his abilities and physical strengths, however, it gives Incognito a huge ego boost. The glowing sigils can also weaken true vampires by surrounding the room with them, as shown in episode 13.
Enhanced Physical Strength: His physical strength was massively enhanced, to start; he wielded a 40mm MGL that weigh around 4.8kg, and then he carried a browning M2, along with an M134 Minigun - no human could ever do this, and Incognito's grenade launcher is already heavier than the Jackal, nor the Casull. So, it's possible that Incognito, with his dark magic ability, Incognito is physically more powerful than Alucard.
By opening his left eye, his ability activates and he was able to telekinetically hurl the Jackal's bullets onto Alucard.
His distorted left eye may also be a part of his black magic, possibly an activation of some sort, as in some scenes, he suddenly glares his left eye to activate an ability, such as his telekinesis ability, or body phasing ability. For the body phasing and telekinesis part, Incognito's glowing sigils are visible, however, it was not until Incognito opens his distorted eye that he telekinetically hurled the Jackal's bullets back at Alucard and was able to completely destroy the Jackal, and decapitated Alucard.
Body Phasing: Incognito was able to simply phase his head, becoming temporarily invulnerable. This is quite similar to when Alucard disappears, then appears out of nowhere. He can also control what part of his body he wants to become invisible, as only his head was not visible when he used this ability.
Invisibility: Incognito has the ability to turn himself invisible, however, it is visible that only normal humans cannot see him, or even FREAK vampires - true vampires like Seras and Alucard, with the help of their "third eye" has the ability to see Incognito. But, they can only see his glowing purple sigils, his physical body is entirely invisible.

Incognito's neon purple/pink beams that appeared in episode 13 are also considered a part of his dark magic abilities, and it appears to be so strong in fact, Seras almost died; however, unlike Anderson's bayonet that she caught in episode 3, the beams cannot be touched, and went straight to her neck and appears to have done more damage than the bayonets Anderson uses. Although it's debatable whether or not it was these beams or just another one of Incognito's abilities, it was most likely that it was these beams that appears to have held Alucard in place, therefore, he cannot move while being slashed by Incognito's beams.
While his master's goal was to take over England, Incognitos, however, was to summon and completely take Sett for himself, which his master had probably agreed upon. Incognito successfully did so by doing a ritual on Integra, and his dark magic ability grows incredibly powerful after absorbing Sett. He also had the ability to transform into Sett himself, something he did during his fight with Alucard up in the sky. How Sett works appears to be similar to how Alucard controls the Baskerville, just with more utility as, unlike Baskerville, he can summon beams and literally summon four lasers from its body. It also appears that Incognito can summon parts of his body while being Sett, as showcased when he was fighting Alucard in the sky in episode 13.
Despite this however, Sett was not entirely loyal to Incognito and ended up betraying Incognito, merging with Alucard, in which, Alucard used Sett's ability to melt a silver cross on the cathedral on top of the broken Jackal, in order to create a silver spear, which he used to finish and, in a classic Vlad the Impaler style, impaled Incognito from top-to-bottom.
Skills[]
In addition to his dark magic and weapon, Incognito is a cunning tactician as evidenced by his earlier match against Alucard. By throwing his FREAK vampire soldiers at Alucard, and encouraging Alucard to attack him, Incognito tricked Alucard into expending his own ammunition and then walking into the trap he had set. By trapping Alucard with his dark magic, and depriving him of his ammunition, Incognito was able to severely wound, and temporarily kill Alucard. Very intelligent, he discovered how to summon Sett, an ancient god, and also became a powerful sorcerer with a lot of knowledge of dark magic. Furthermore, the whole battle in London, specifically, the Tower of London, seems to have been staged with Incognito knowing that Integra would try and come to stop the battle between him and Alucard.
Incognito's well-known weapon is the grenade launcher he uses, named "Sword-Off Armscore 40mm MGL Custom", or simply known as the "Sword-Off". The grenade launcher's cartridges are filled with powerful dark magic spines. When the launcher is fired, the cartridge shatters, launching the spines. What effect these have on a human target is never shown in the anime, though they appear to be very powerful, as Alucard has noted. When reloading is required, Incognito vomits a set of dark magic spines into the cartridge assembly of the gun. Incognito was shown multiple times pulling this out of his skin, the reason why is unknown.
This weapon is first used against Alucard (who identified it by name) in episode 9; after the powerful vampire asks what Incognito has done (to his master Integra), Incognito shoots him and the spines go through his chest, causing him noticeable pain. The weapon is later used against Alucard again in their confrontation in episode 12, where the spines slash up Alucard's face and damage his body; and again in episode 13, where Alucard (in his Level 1 form) dodges the spines. When Incognito is seen impaled at the end of the episode, the MGL is still hanging in front of his arm by its chains.
Also, this weapon is rather heavy, weighing even more than the Casull, or the Jackal.
Ammunition[]
The Multiple Grenade Launcher's cartridges are filled with powerful, red, helical spines which are powered with dark magic and resemble DNA chains. When the launcher is fired, the cartridge shatters, launching the spines in a manner similar to a shotgun. While the effect these have on a human target is never shown in the Anime, they appear to be powerful enough to be of note to Alucard. When reloading is required, Incognito vomits green slime, which congeals into a set of dark magic spins into the cartridge assembly of the gun.

M134 Minigun and a Browning M2[]
In Hellsing Episode 10: "Master of Monster", Incognito is shown wielding a minigun and what seems to be an M2 Browning heavy machine gun, though it was never seen or used again. The reason is not clear, it is speculated that they either run out of budget or it would be too difficult for him to use 3 weapons.
The Browning M2 (nicknamed "ma deuce," because "she always has the last word") is a belt-fed, short recoil-operated .50 caliber heavy machine gun.
The M134 Minigun is a six-barreled, electrically-driven rotary gun originally designed by General Electric.
The FREAK chip was created by Incognito and Incognito's Master. The chips empower the user to become vampires, in that they will never be fatigued as they have high stamina. In some cases, it can revert the aging process and give the user special abilities like transforming into unsightly, wingless bat-creatures or telepathy. The chip has been used to transform characters like Paul Wilson, Luke Valentine, and Jan into false vampires. A large number of chips loaded into a person could create an undead of greater power, though it would still be ultimately weaker than a true vampire, or even a true undead fledgling.
Rituals[]
S.A.S Ghouls[]
While his master uses his ability over the English Military, Incognito has control over his S.A.S ghouls. However, unlike normal ghouls, these S.A.S ghouls look like werewolves and are much more agile than average ghouls, making them very dangerous foes. These S.A.S ghouls were later killed by Chris Pickman with the help of Alucard, and Seras Victoria.
Dark Magic Power-up[]
At the end of episode 10, Incognito made an appearance; it shows him doing some kind of ritual underneath the Bobhan Castle. This ritual's purpose is most likely to power up his already powerful, dark-magic ability as it showed him roaring and feeling incredibly powerful. He then proceeds to summon the S.A.S ghouls.
Sett Ritual[]
In episode 13, Incognito kidnaps Integra after Walter sacrificed his life, and after Incognito himself defeated Alucard. This was also Incognito and his master's main goal - to summon Sett and destroy England. In order to do this, Incognito had to find someone, make a small hole in their neck, suck their blood with his telekinesis ability, and then pray. The victim also needs to be placed on some sort of pentagram and Sett would then appear. Incognito must also chant the following; "Roan Veldai Shukuku Nebreften Zarzas Zarzas Nerzas Agun Dem Dortem Weiden Lar Rott Gar Sett". A light would shine upon Incognito and Sett then finally let loose into London, going berserk.

It can be argued that Incognito is an indirect reference to The Major and serves as a stand-in for him in the anime series. Incognito claims to have been born for no purpose save to bring ruin and destruction to all while the Major says his only goal is to ignite a grand war.
Count Orlock as he appears in Nosferatu.
Though his true identity is unknown, It has also been argued that, while Alucard is inspired by Count Dracula, Incognito may have been inspired by, or be, the vampire Count Orlok, from the 1922 silent movieNosferatu due to a few similarities.
His appearance is very similar to Zorin Blitz, as they both have one distorted eye, and markings on the side of their faces and bodies.
He is the only character, aside from Alexander Anderson, to come close to killing Alucard in battle.
He is the only character other than Alucard in either series' to kill a true vampire.
He is mainly superior to Alucard before he activated his level 1 form.
Incognito's appearance also bears resemblance to the reptile-like vampires from Robert Rodriguez's movie, From Dusk till Dawn.
Since vampires turn to dust when they die, it is possible that Incognito managed to live a bit longer after Alucard impaled him because he did not turn to dust, or simply that he's one of the few vampires that doesn't turn into dust when they die.
