BLACK DOGブラック・ドッグ, Burakku Doggu is the soundtrack album of the Hellsing: Ultimate OVA.

With the exception of THE DAWN by Suilen, the soundtrack mostly features Hayato Matsuo as its composer, with a performance by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.

It was published by Geneon on March 21st, 2008, in every region, including North America and Japan, but after merging with Universal Japan, it was published by NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan LLC on the re-release.

Cover Illustration[]

The cover of the soundtrack features Alucard, shapeshifting his right arm into the Baskerville, sliding out his arm with the Jackal in his hand. This illustration is somewhat similar to the fight between Luke Valentine and Alucard, where Alucard shapeshifts into the Baskerville and then, after seeing Luke run for his life, slides his arm out with the Jackal, and shoots Luke's right, then left leg.
