Chris Pickman (クリス・ピックマン Kurisu Pikkuman?) was a captain in the Hellsing Organization Special Military Forces after the Valentine Brothers' attack on Hellsing in the Anime.
Appearance[]
Physically, Chris has a brown hair, purple eyes and a normal build with a lowered nose and a rectangle jaw.
He wears a Hellsing uniform which consists of Black vest, green military shirt with a Hellsing badge on his shoulder and Brown pockets. He wears green trousers with a knee pad and a combat boots. He wore a helmet for a moment before taking it off when Alucard saves him.
Personality[]
Chris is an efficient soldier, who gives his all for Hellsing, and never seems to lose his cool. He is respected by Alucard because of his death, which, he requested Alucard to kill him because he wants to die as a Human. He is very calm, not afraid even when he's surrounded by 3 SAS ghouls, who killed 2 members of his crew who were with him.
History[]
He first appears in Order 9, where he leads his men in a raid on Baobhan Castle before the SAS intervenes. In Order 12, Chris and Alucard killed many SAS ghouls created by Incognito during the Battle of the Tower of London, however Pickman is fatally wounded by a vampire. Pickman shows considerable courage and conviction: in his final moments he asks Alucard to kill him now, as he wants to die as a human, rather than as a Ghoul. Alucard honors the man's final request and puts him down with the Jackal. As a sign of respect, Alucard lays his hat on the man before continuing the fight. In Order 13, Alucard uses the blood of Pickman (and the other fallen Hellsing soldiers) in order to regenerate and defeat Incognito.
Skills[]
As a captain of the Hellsing Organization, he's a formidable combatant, though it wasn't shown and an expert with weapons. His calm and fearless personality even made Alucard to respect him, dubbing him as a "True Hellsing Soldier".
