These group of Atheists and Heathens Mercenaries 《異教徒と無神論者, Mushinronsha to Ikyōto》 was hired by Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing to serve the Hellsing Organisation, and each its members was found by Peter Fargason.
In a desperate attempt to prepare from the coming attacks after being informed of the vampire Incognito's appearance on the land of England, with the devastating attack led by the Valentine Brothers, Sir Integra Hellsing ordered Fargason to find any capable mercenaries to hire and serve under the organization.
History[]
In episode 8, Fargason said that there were a total of 74 candidates. However, it seems that these increased as the offers was extended to foreigners specialists with good references, as well as the D-11 and SAS members. Their hiring caused Seras Victoria to move under someone else's division.
Walter C. Dornez, the Hellsing family's butler, commented on the fact that allowed heathens and atheists to their organization he described as "honorable" to be "precedent," criticizing Integra for doing so. Integra replied back, stating that even if they set out SAS employee's, they still wouldn't be able to find that much men that they could trust.
During the battle within the Tower of London, all members of the group perished. The corpses of them would be later used by Alucard in order to revive himself by redirecting their blood towards his own corpse.
Equipment[]
The group's attires, varies on each person; some wears some accessories on their hat, while some don't. Some also wears vests, and the design of the vests are quite different. There are multiple people that wears green clothing, and multiple people that wears beige clothing. For their weapons, they use an MP5. It is implied that after their training were done, every members wore the usual Hellsing Military uniform and was placed under Fargason's command

- In the character sheet referencing the height of the characters, Pip Vernedead, a character from the Wild Geese which the group of Atheists and Heathens were based on, made an appearance between Seras and Integra.
